How to clean microsuede chair?
I scored a great "like new" glider and ottoman for $60 today for my nursery. I'm really excited since I almost spent $350 on a brand new one. There are no stains, spots or strong smells (i.e. pets or smoke) but it does smell slightly weird, like someone else's house or maybe a basement, if you know what I mean. So I want to give it a good cleaning to freshen it up and make it smell nice.
Any tips on cleaning microsuede? Should I use a steam vacuum cleaner, just water and a mild soap, etc? Thanks in advance!
Re: How to clean microsuede chair?
I just bought a Little Green Machine to get a stain off our microsuede sofa. It was a relatively new stain and it took all of it away. It also cleaned a baby formula stain that been on our sofa for over 3 years. I had tried everything to get that stain out and nothing worked.
I was impressed.
As PP said: steam it.
We steam our microsuede couch, chairs and ottoman about once a year and they're just like new.
