When I got out of the subway station and started walking to work some greasy, bloodied guy was limping towards me. I was looking at him, looking around, like WTF is going on!? There was also police barricading a street at the intersection. After a minute I realized the guy was part of a zombie walk (another walked towards me and I saw the others making their way down the street). There was a car accident around the corner and the barricade had nothing to do with the zombies, but it was quite the confusing scene for me first thing in the morning! I thought the zombies were going to be more interactive. A few wandered towards me, but didn't grunt, growl, etc. I would've played along... "Don't eat me! I don't taste good!" I just smiled at them instead

Kinda like a flash mob then?? That's crazy cakes!!
I would have been a little freaked out.
They do this every year in downtown Denver. It is hilarious because there are all these tourists who have no idea what is going on. There is also a free mall shuttle thing, and the "zombies" always end up mobbing it.
It was last weekend actually. So funny.

I was surprised these guys were so quiet! My old apt in Canada had the perfect street view. My parents were over one time a few yrs ago, we're talking and hanging, then we look out and all of the sudden the street was full of zombies...I think that was the first time I'd heard of it.
I just realized a few years is about 6 or 7 years ago now! Holy crap!
There's also a fountain in the square where I get out and the water's been coloured orange... that alone creeped me out.
