Recs for where to buy a futon?
So H has decided that he'd like to have a queen-size futon in his office (rather than a couch) so that in a pinch, we'll have more space for visitors. I like the idea but I have no idea where to start shopping for a futon. H hates Ikea furniture, so they're out. In an initial search, I see a few futon specialty places as well as just some furniture places that sell futons... I'm overwhelmed - any recommendations (or places to avoid)?

Busted!
Re: Recs for where to buy a futon?
Way back in the day I bought my "nice" wood frame futon from the Sofa Store on Mansell in Roswell. It was abt. $500, it was a double, with the extra full mattress. I used it for about 7 years as my LR sofa/guest bed. It was comfy to sit on, and not too bad for sleeping, but the more I moved it from sofa-bed-sofa, the looser the joints got, until I had to add separate metal joiners/connectors to keep it from falling apart. Also, to improve the sitting comfort, I got a 4" deep piece of foam from JoAnn's to put under the mattress. (Keep in mind, it got a lot of use as my LR sofa).
So I guess the moral of the story is, make sure you buy one that has a very strong and well connected frame. Dowels and glue alone aren't sufficient.
BUY MINE!!! BUY MINE!!! I have to sell it before my MIL and SIL try to invade my house at the same time again!
We just ordered this futon from CB2.
We also considered a similar one from Room and Board.
