Morning & T-Day Update
Happy Hump Day! The last 2 days have been slow going, but I think things will pick-up today and tomorrow. We have our customers coming in tomorrow for a meeting regarding something that has to be pretty much 98% complete by November 14 and they've barely started, eek!
On the thanksgiving front, it has been decided that DH and I are hosting 10, maybe 11 people. So now we need to figure out what the menu will be and then let people know what to bring. I want to see if we can get a turkey fryer, so we'll see.

That sounds like a perfect number for turkey day!! This year for Thanksgiving dh is on call so we are staying in just the two of us and having a traditional dinner. Last year we hosted both of our families about 16 people (18 if you count the toddlers). It was sooo tough but it helped me realize how many serving type things I still needed. We went to sit down and I realized dh's family sat at one table and mine sat at another and guess what? There were only two chairs left, one at each table. We didn't want to raise a fuss so each sat down seperately. It instantly soured my favorite holiday. Wow I am glad we are on our own this year.
I am so glad DH and I established our holiday routine early. Thanksgiving we always go to my parents house. It's usually just me, DH, my mom, my dad, my sister, and her 2 kids. It's nice and quiet. Shortly after desert DH and Dad leave to go hunting for a couple days. So I get to hang out with my family and eat all kinds of leftovers.
