Our pumpkins!

Greg and I watched a scary movie (Trick R Treat-- it's awesome!) and finally carved our pumpkins!

It's a reverse pumpkin and the Christman's! He drew them on and I helped cut them out! Greg is such a typography nerd... heehee.

Re: Our pumpkins!

  • Very cute!

We're so behind on the Halloween train! I thought we could carve a pumpkin this year, but I have yet to buy one. I also don't want to give the neighbourhood kids the wrong idea, b/c we don't plan on being home to give out candy. I can sense they're troublemakers. We also haven't decided on costumes yet!!! I'm excited to dress up again since I haven't done anything since '07, but we've been lazy about it :(

  • Love these! Sounds like you guys had fun.  What a great way to spend the evening.
  • I like the reverse pumpkin! haha I was going to take a picture of ours last night but it was pouring the rain and I didn't want to get wet. I'll try to get one tonight.

  • Yeah, so we bought a pumpkin a week and a half ago and it's still sitting, whole, on our little back porch. Ugh. Soon...

I'm really impressed by your reverse-pumpkin carving. I am nowhere near that precise. How on earth did you leave those thin little support parts without breaking them?!

I think the eyes and mouth are being held on by toothpicks, I could be wrong though.
