I have an issue with putting things away. Mainly because when everything is put away I feel like I can't find it. So I leave it out where I can see it. So like most of my clothes get hung up instead of being folded and put in a drawer. So anyone have any advice as to how I can get better organized. I am tired of the constant clutter especially in my kitchen. It is starting to drive me batty. Or point me in the direction of website...something...anything.
TIA!
Stephanie
Re: Organization help!!
You sound like a visual learner. Here are a few tips to get you started.

Also try unclutterer.com and look up "visual learner".
I think the main thing is having organization systems that keep everything available to see. Hang up your utensils and pots, install a spice rack on your cupboard door, use clear containers. GL!

Hi there! I am a neat freak. Just a disclaimer. But, I married a messy man, so I live "in the middle" now. He leaves everything out, and I like it put away.
As far as keeping the house in order, this can be daunting. But here is what I do. I set small daily goals that won't affect my relaxation, and keep the "forward motion" of a tidy house rolling along (instead of things getting out of control. Take today - I will start 2 loads of laundry, and make up the guest bedroom in the basement. That is really only about 20 minutes of my time, but I have taken a chunk out of my housework. Tomorrow I will fold 2 baskets of laundry and make up the upstairs guest bedroom. If I stick to my 20 minute power program then by weekend I am only doing the groceries, and I dont end up losing a whole day to cleaning. Also - ny husband will be part of whatever "chunk of chore" we are doing each day.
Also, I work 50 hours a week and do not have children, but have a very large home, just so that you can draw the appropriate comparison (I know children can make evening housekeeping really hard!) But if this helps one person, then I am happy!
PS - this was my first post! Happy Wedensday!
