I know with Thanksgiving and driving to Ohio, it's going to be virtually impossible to write during Wed-Sat of that week. I think I am going to borrow this Saturday and Sunday and sub it for 2 of those 4 days of writing. Would you judge me for this and think it DQ's me in a moral way?
I'm torn... this weekend will be so perfect, DH is OOT and I can go to Starbucks or Panera and write all day Saturday and Sunday...

Re: would this DQ me?
I don't have a good answer for you - I certainly wouldn't judge you, and I feel like since the whole point of the thing is to encourage people to write, then who cares! That being said, most people's Thanksgiving week is crazy so I guess that's part of the challenge.
Anyway, the real reason I wanted to reply to you is that I just clicked over to your blog - OMGDELICIOUSNESS. Sincerely, your newest follower
Maybe this weekend I'll just really work on nailing down my outline and character pages. That way when I have to write I can really crank it out. I don't want to feel like I was a cheater! I'm such a by-the-rules type of person, it would probably make me feel guilty all month.
Thanks for checking out my blog
I'm glad you like it! I'm so excited to start the holiday baking and cooking.
I wouldn't do it, but I don't think it would disqualify you. I wouldn't give anyone who did that the side eye so long as they really gave up the two days during November. You know?
That said, if you're really conflicted about it I would just focus on doing some extensive outlining this weekend. Flesh out dialogue and really develop your scenes that way when November 1st gets here it would be a matter of plugging and chugging your way through.
