Taking a friend out in the triangle
Hey Triangle nesties!!
My best friend is coming to visit in 2 weeks and since I am rather new to the triangle I was hoping you could give me some suggestions for fun things to do while she's here. We are already planning on doing the whole spa day thing, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas. She will be here from next Friday to Monday...any suggestions would be great!! Thanks so much!
p.s. I live in north Raleigh but any ideas near here would be great

What kind of things do you enjoy?
For lots of bars, clubs, etc. there's Glenwood South and downtown. I can give you more recs depending on what you're into.
The art museum is nice and if the weather is pleasant you can bring a picnic and enjoy their outside park/sculpture area.
Depending on when on Fri. she's leaving, Nov. 5th will be first Friday and there's tons of art stuff going on downtown.
You can head over to Chapel Hill & cruise Franklin Street and the campus.
Again, if the weather is nice, spend a day in Wilmington.
