Health & Fitness Wednesday
Well, since we were away this weekend, i ate like CRAP and we also broke into the bags of halloween candy to hand out this weekend even though we told ourselves we wouldn't. Major fail
I'm going to sign up for the gym this weekend because i cant stay motivated to work out at home. There's always some type of house work that needs to be done that is more important than having a workout. SO, the only way i can get healthier exercise-wise is to join a gym. It will be good for me. I'm looking into a few this week and should decide which one i want to join by the weekend.
How has you been doing with your health/fitness goals?

Re: Health & Fitness Wednesday
I didn't weigh myself this morning but I'm fairly certain I haven't lost anything. This past weekend I ate some pretty rich food, this coming weekend we have friends in town so we'll be eating out for like every meal and then the following weekend my parents are in town...so ya. Weekend eating won't be very good for a while - gonna try to pick healthy options though.
As for exercise, I joined a new gym that offers classes. It's pretty much empty when I go after work which is fantastic. I did a yoga class on Monday which was good. They also offer Zumba and Spinning (at the times that I can go) so I'm excited to try those out as well. I'm pretty excited about starting to work out again - in my mind I know exactly what I want to look like and have goals and stuff like that. Now I just need to follow through with them!
I got motivated...I'm down 4 1/2 pounds!!! (Not in only one week, though...I've been avoiding posting on these until I had good news!!! lol)
So I'm finally back down to my wedding weight! Yippee!
It's been really hard lately because my oldest son is all like I don't want to eat vegetarian...then the younger 2 didn't want it anymore either. Then my hubby even joined the dark side!!! It was mutiny I tell you!!!
So for the past 2 months...my kitchen has been full of creamy desserts, lucious buttery side dishes, and tender fall off the bone meats. The smell is sometimes more than I can handle.
And I have always been weak in the face of chocolate and peanut butter.
But for the last 3 weeks...I'm back to my good healthy eating! Super low fats...only good carbs (whole grains and beans and stuff)...high fiber...fruits and veggies...yada, yada, yada.
I joined a gym monday! I had to wait until DH's first paycheck because things were too tight, but I've gone twice now. They have a great child minding room, and the times they are open are perfect for me (9am-noon). I just hate that I had to wait so long to join. Now I'll get my routine started, and then have to break it to go back to work.
I definitely haven't lost anything though, and I'm about 5lbs up from Wedding weight, and about 18lbs from Pre-Preggo weight. I don't even want to think about my work wardrobe, eeeek!
July 10, 2010 Best. Day. Of. Life.
I started tracking my food/calorie intake this past weekend. I'm using MyPlate which makes it really easy to keep track of everything. I never realized how much I was over eating before I started keep track. I'm also waiting for my Zumba DVD's to get here. I ordered them last Monday and they are expected to arrive Friday, then I'll start working out at home. I just can't do the gym thing, I've tried so many times and always find a reason not to go.
I've still been trying to think of good motivational things I can post like I had brought up about doing before, but it's hard!
