I tried searching but the nest didn't give me any results. So if you have a steam mop that you love, please recommend it! I have laminate floors and tile that I'm looking to use it on, plus a few pets so I'm leaning more toward one that has a vacuum feature too. Unless that's a feature that I'm making up in my head
Thanks!
Re: Steam mop recs?
I borrowed my mom's Shark Pocket Mop (here) and after giving it a test drive I'm planning on getting one myself. I used it on hardwood, ceramic tile, and linoleum and it handled all three quickly and they look great. It's super lightweight and easy to maneuver. The floors dried very quickly (less than 1 min) without streaking and there was no dripping of puddling of water.
There is also a Shark model with a vacuum feature like you mentioned; I believe it's called the Vac and Steam.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over!
Ditto pp. Sharks are awesome. I currently have a Bissell Steam Cleaner that's about 7 years old, and am hoping to swap it out for a Shark soon. My mom caught onto the steam mop trend really early, and has already been through about 4 different varieties... so I've seen firsthand the quality difference between Bissell and Shark.
The Bissell is decent, but it tips over immediately if you take your hands off it and try to set it somewhere... and they have a tendency to develop leaking issues once they get older. Mine will drip water from right above and right below the water filter.... regardless of how fresh the filter is. Also, the newer Bissells have these microfiber mop heads that are pretty much useless.. Back when I got mine, they had a thick terrycloth mop head that's a PITA to put on, but works much better at both scrubbing and absorbing than the microfiber ones do.
