best thin condoms! help

since my body can't deal with the bc pill (hormones thrown all out of wack!) we have used condoms as birth control. we haven't found a condom both of us really like. It also seems like Trojan condoms, especially, cause my husband to loose his erection pretty quickly.

Does anyone recommend a tried and true thin condom that is also a great birth control??! I have done a bit of research and Okamoto Crown condoms seems to have great reviews- but they can only be bought online!  Anyone have any thoughts? If you do recommend Okamoto condoms where do you buy them? There are places that you purchase them online and the reviews come back that the customers didn't get what they thought they were purchasing!

 Thanks in advance!

Re: best thin condoms! help

  • I bought Crown condoms online and they really are awesome. I don't remember what site I bought them at though. I saw it advertised that they sell them at CVS, Target, Walgreens, etc but I couldn't fine them anywhere so I bought them online. I've heard lambskin 1s are awesome too but they are SO expensive, $43 for 12! I definitely recommend the Crown ones and they are inexpensive.
  • condomdepot.com

H & I get our condoms from there.

  • My H and I use One Super Sensitive condoms and love them.
  • I had the same problems with birth control so we just switched to only condoms.

    We like Lifestyle SKYN condoms.

  • We like Lifestyle ultra sensitive with or without nonoxynol 9(spermicide)
  • Have you considered an IUD? I have Mirena & love it! It is cheaper, easier & more reliable than condoms.
  • We recently bought Durex Fetherlite and they are absolutely the best ever! We have always HATED Trojans with a passion - they're thicker (or feel that way) and stink! We've tried multiple varieties of Durex, and these are the best. They are technically 'premium', so they cost a dollar or two more per box than most other types, but it's totally worth it.
    Life is good today.
  • You might also want to look into Pleasure Plus condoms.  They have a snug shaft to prevent sperm leakage, but the head of the condom is loose.   You put a bit of lube into the tip and then roll the condom on.  The end of the condom isn't restrictive, so the head of the penis experiences more sensation.  Might be more enjoyable than just thin.

  • I've had good experience with Kimono Thin condoms.

You might also consider a diaphragm with spermicidal foam.  It's old-fashioned, but is a better-feeling barrier method than a condom.

  • Durex Extra Sensitive are really good... we've gotten them cheap on Ebay for years (yes, they are sealed, and the expiration date is always at least 2 years from the present).
