I just wanted to let you know that my dietician I went to in July also told me to each the real deal foods in moderation because she thinks (along with myself) that extra sugar/carbs are part of my inability to lose weight.  Just wanted to tell you that I'm with you as far as not knowing what to believe.  It seems everyone says something else.  Hope you start to have success with whatever you try!

Re: **michellepete**

  • It's frustrating, isn't it?  I was going with the light versions because the nutritionist told me to do that vs fat free.  Took me forever in the grocery store the first few months, but I found a pattern and foods that were acceptable.  Now I think I'm going to try for the real food/moderation and see how that goes.  I did lose 30 pounds with the exercise and light foods.  So it's not like it wasn't working.  But I want to learn how to eat for a lifetime, not for a diet.

    Anyway, thanks for the post.
