Are you pregnant comebacks
I saw this on another board and I was wondering what comebacks you guys have. I hate this question and always wished I had something good to reply with.

Ha! We're TTC but haven't told people.
I'm a huge smarta$$ so when people that are close to me have said things like "well, maybe you're pregnant!!!" I come back and say, "No, I'm just fat, but thanks for reminding me!!!" Like I said, i'm a huge smarta$$.
For others, I just say "why, do you want to babysit?" and laugh with a smile.
now, i know i am slightly overweight, but i would never in a million years describe myself as looking pregnant.
last summer i was working at a yoga festival with a friend. and this random woman just asked me if i was pregnant. i was so embarrased and said "no, im just fat" and then ran away, cried, and got ben and jerries.
i NEVER feel comfortable asking if someone is pregnant until they are CLEARLY like 8 months pregnant. you never know! they could have just HAD the baby and their stomach is still a little big (this happened to a woman in an exercise class i took--she walked in, the instructor asked when she was due, and she said "i had the baby 3 weeks ago...") it is really rude to ask. i am STILL scared by that woman asking me last summer.
Blog
I read an article by Dave Barry once that basically said never ask a women if she's pregnant unless you see a baby coming out of her body. Great rule to live by...
I got asked in HS if I was pregnant. Talk about morale booster. Granted, I was wearing an apron over a baggy shirt, but biscuits and gravy, I was 15! Now I respond similary to moleson w/ thanks for reminding me that I need to lose weight...
People can be so rude! Sheesh! I'm not looking forward to the holiday celebration with DH's family. Everyone comes in from all over the U.S. and I know there will be many questions about when we're going to have a baby. I've yet to come up with a good response other than "we're never going to have children". I had a hysterectomy because of health issues (Stage IV Endometriosis) a few years ago (forced...definitely NOT wanted). Ughhhhhhhhhh
If someone asks me if I AM pregnant, I may just go off! Although, tears and a "No' would probably suffice! LOL
Aside from people saying, "Maybe you're pregnant" if I complain about being sick or moody or something, I've only had one person ask me if I'm pregnant. I was wearing a babydoll-type sweater and I honestly didn't think I looked pregnant in it, but I wanted to cry, then go home and change. Instead I was stuck at work all day wondering if everyone else thought I looked pregnant. It was a really nice sweater, and I liked it a lot, but I haven't worn it since.
When the guy asked, I couldn't be rude because he was an older gentleman, so I just smiled and said no.
IUI #1 10/12/11 (Bravelle + HCG + Prometrium & acupuncture) = 10/26 BFP! Beta #1=250, Beta #2= 615. 1st u/s 11/8.
When I was pregnant and showing--I was working at the firm at that time and I was just a few weeks from maternity leave, the Fed Ex guy came in and was like-- "Oh you're having a baby?!" and I came back with "nope, just got hungry and ate up a basketball. Here's your sign."
it was a good moment in history.
