Unpopular Opinion Thursday
I know you guys have 'em! (I really need to come up with a new way to say that)
Mine: I don't know how popular or not this opinion is, but I can't stand Mary Fallin. I can look past her personal indiscretions, but I cannot overlook the fact that she would be a scary, scary governor.

Re: Unpopular Opinion Thursday
Mary Fallin scares me too. In fact, an old friend of mine who happens to be one of the most conservative talk radio hosts in the state is even scared by her... which scares me even more.
my bookshelf!
Bloggy
I have not followed the governor candidates AT ALL.
In fact, I am not even sure which is the republican and which is the democrat (not that it matters, I am not someone that votes party specific).
I get annoyed at grown-ass adults who make a HUGE deal of their birthday, for like the whole month. I like celebrating my birthday and all, but being all "LOOK AT ME! MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 22 DAYS!!!" is uber-annoying. And the other grown-ass adults who cater to that bullshizz also annoy me. "OMG. HAPPY ALMOST BIRTHDAY!!!"
BLECH.
In this election, it is pretty hard to tell.
I hope I didn't make too big a deal about my birthday when we were talking last week, then...I seem to remember talking about it...but I am turning 30
Eischen's, here I come!
I at least don't post all over the FB about it. ha.
This makes me laugh... We have a 40 something woman in our office who does this the entire month. She even has another co-worker that will play into it and bring her a cake on the first of the month every year.... In that case I don't know which one is worse. lol
Ha. Not you. At all. Did you re-name your birth month after yourself? No? you're fine.
Uhhh....no. That's completely BSC. I will be celebrating my birthday on several days with different people (Friday with H, Saturday night with friends, and probably a dinner/movie with my sis on Sunday or something) but that's it!
Omg. Do you work with my mother? She does this.
Now I fully understand why you don't get along with her.
Holy sh!t. LOL!!! Yes, she gets a full month for her birthday and she also gets my birthday too. I stopped speaking to her right before I turned 30 that way my 30th birthday would be ALL ABOUT ME!!!!!!
I'm afraid thi swill be pretty unpopular.. or just make me sounds like a terrible, horrible, miserable person.... but I am sick of like 85% of facebook status updates. The horrible part? The ones that are starting to bug me the most are the bible verse/ inspirational quote ones. I am completely religious. Have all of those picture frames with words like "Blessed" or "Live". And I always write on my nieces' facebooks words of encouragement like, "I think you're fabulous".. blah blah blah. Point is: you would think that I would like these kinds of updates. And once in a while, sure. I've done it a handful of times, in the past 4 years. I just don't want to see 4 lines of an inspiration love poem every day- and yes I have a handful of friends who do this who I will be hiding soon
. Write it on your mirror or something.
And actually, I think the updates that annoy me more are the "If you have a sister who likes the color green and has a jack russell terrier that you love VERY MUCH... repost this!"
Ok.. off my soapbox. This was all flame free right? HAha
A guy I used to buy a certain leafy substance from in high school does this every day! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's grown up and chosen a better path for himself, but the daily devotional makes me laugh.
There's nothing in this that is offensive or worthy of flaming. I see them quite a bit, too. I'm not religious, and while I'm not offended by it, I just feel it's just unnecessary propaganda.
This is so not flameworthy, I agree with you 100% ! I am tired of these quotes and to be honest, I block a lot of people for this.
