Corn Thingy is the best thing EVER!!!
All my college friends and I have been getting together sometime around Thanksgiving for the past 6 years, and having a big family Thanksgiving. No matter where we are all living we get to Providence and see eachother.
This kid had this family recipe for Corn Thingy that he has been making every year. It is some sort of corn bread/creamed corn/amazingness combination.
We have been trying for years to get the recipe out of him, but so far no nice. It is always the first dish to go and people will throw down to get seconds.

I think it's called corn casserole. That's what H family calls it anyway. It's a mixture of cream corn and cornbread. I'm sure there is more to it than that, but I'm not sure.
But Corn Thingy is such a great term..ha ha.
I am going to try and get the recipe as it does not look like I will be making it to RI this year for the get together. I am going to tell him Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without it!
