Hey ladies. I keep popping over on TB TTC board, but there are so many "trolls" over there that I thought I would just pose this question to you ladies, b/c I like you more
Obviously those of us TTC are doing the "deed" when needed, but I was wondering how many of you have already altered your eating/drinking habits?
I'm a huge coffee/diet coke freak so I've been trying to limit my intake to only 1 cup of either or a day. I also haven't been drinking (Which after today already at work might have to change this evening!).
Just looking for other input from what you gals are doing.....
Re: Those of you TTC
i cut back on the caffiene and cut out artificial sweetener (diet drinks, in my coffee, etc)....most of what i read is that you can have up to two 8 oz cups a day of coffee...but switched to half caff in my Keurig and will likely work on getting to decaff.....
as far as alcohol...on the TTC boards i've seen a lot of drink til it's pink...i think you need to be comfortable with your decision....
since you're TTC, i would imagine you'd be testing so you wouldn't be drinking tons of alcohol for weeks......i went to a wedding last weekend and enjoyed some wine! i just try to keep in mind that it could take months to get a baby on board....TTC can be stressful enough...for me i don't think it would be worth it to also make myself completely miserable...but i also wouldn't go overboard because i wouldn't want to think that certain habits had impacted our ability to conceive...
good luck! hopefully you'll get KU right away and that will make it easier for you!

I don't drink caffeine anyway so I'm good on that front.

We are not try but not preventing. I haven't done anything different.
I know when I AM pregnant I will have to pretend to drink bc we go to the same place all the time actually H works there and whenever I don't drink I get the nasty side eye with "What are you pregnant?!?" Really I'm in my cough.. late 20's, married, H and I both have jobs dont side eye me even if I was.. sorry for my vent.
So long story short when I get KU I and we arent' telling I am still gonna have to pretend..
Thanks for my vent.
So CLEARLY I am crazy!
