2 More Days...

..of political nonsense at work!!! Tuesday can not come soon enough!

Re: 2 More Days...

  • Yay!!! I can't wait till those wasted cards that come in the mail stop. What a waste of paper.
  • I'm so ready to be done with all these political ads.  There are a few huge initiatives on the ballot in our state, and most of the ads lie.  It's so annoying.  DH and I need to read through the language of the initiatives ourselves to figure out how we're going to vote.

  • I'm ready for it to be over with also. I know they need to get their message out there, but enough commericals already. I guess in our area they are taking to the TV instead of mailings, as we have not gotten but maybe 2-3.

  • I dunno - they haven't bothered me so much. This is such a huge mid-term election, that I'm glad there's so much publicity, so that people know to go out and vote, because so few people vote in local elections. Regardless of which party you belong to, this election is HUGE.

Laura - you can make it through!! almost done! :)

  • guam is bad. people dont really care what the candidates stand for - it's whoever's family you know. the 2 candidates for governor have had signs up for a year and a half........ the candidates and their groupies tend to stand outside our office to have "waves" - where they wave at everyone  and make lots of noise . quite distracting!! PLUS there are signs cluttering up our roads everywhere.. i'm registered to vote in florida, so i've been over guam politics since i sent in my absentee ballot! hah.
  • I'm registered D and DH is registered R, so we have gotten bombarded by both parties this year. We have 2-3 mailing everyday. Today we had 5!!!!! And 2 voicemails!!  When I pulled my pre-logs (lists of who is running all weekend on cable) for the weekend not one of my local clients is getting a commercial this weekend. It is ALL political! UGH!
