Card Cupids

I did 2 cards for Card Cupid this week. Card Cupid is designed to collect and send a bundle of cards with words of encouragement to needy children for their birthday or in a time of need with a cuddly card package that includes a stuff animal. They help to make sure that each needy child's birthday is celebrated and that children in the hopsital receive well wishes.

They can take homemade cards and even store-bought cards. I thought I pass it along, so that if anyone wanted to participate they can. Their website is http://www.cardcupids.org/p/about-card-cupids.html and it explains more. They don't want cards that say "Get well" because as you can imagine some of these kids may not get better, so I understand their reasoning behind it.

A nestie on the craft board is running Card Cupid. I thought it was a great idea and I am hoping to do more cards to send to her to have on hand.

Thought I pass it along in case anyone might be interested in it.
