Grrrr

So my sleeping habits have been disrupted but when I can sleep, I want to sleep. 5am, the phone rings. I didn't go and get it but it was MIL, she left a message. They're waiting for their flight back from FL right now and she did this the day they left for their cruise too, she for some reason doesn't get that there's a 3 hour time difference. She wanted to know if the baby had arrived. As soon as DH wakes up I'm making him call her and tell her not to ever call before 8am. Esp when the baby comes, I think I'll have to turn off the ringer. And yes, we would have notified them if Lucie was here, I don't know why she thinks we wouldn't have! Gosh!!!!!

Re: Grrrr

  • I would have killed her. It would tick me off because for me if the phone rang that early in the morning I would expect that someone was hurt or dead and not checking on me. I would turn the ringer off when Lucie is here (especially when she is sleeping) and if someone really needed to get ahold of you they can call on your cell, which shouldn't wake baby up.

  • Oh I would have been pissed!  She sounds just like my MIL, inconsiderate, rude, and annoying!  Duh, you def. would have contacted them to let them know Lucie had arrived.  yeesh!
  • Ugh.  That's really annoying.
