I finally gave in and joined the iPhone world. So far, it's great!
I know there are millions of apps out there, but I don't have a clue where to start. I have Words With Friends and a couple of sports apps... but that's about it.
What are you favorite apps? Are there any that are a 'must have'?
What about pointers? Are there any special tips or anything I need to know? TIA!

Re: iPhone Users
I too recently joined the iPhone world! I lurve Words with Friends! I played all.the.time on D's phone.
Some apps that I got are: Tango (let's you make face to face calls with out minutes (I think...or something like that) dictionary.com app, sex offenders lite, bump (big fan! you can "bump" other iphones contact info, pictures, all sorts of fun stuff), FB, myspace, flashlight, expedia (if you travel a lot), Urbanspoon, and AroundMe.
I also got a BofA app, but I know not all banks have them. And I got the ATT myWireless app.
That's all I have so any more suggestions are welcome here too!
Kindle and Stanza (another ebook app - even a lot of public libraries have ebooks now!)

Ditto Around Me, FB, Words with Friends
There's also a chess with friends
C25K app
Scramble
The Weather Channel (very helpful in the spring)
Ditto Pandora, FB, C25K, Urbanspoon, Words with Friends
My bank has an app that's really helpful

iWrecked...Hopefully you will never have to use it but if you do, it comes in very handy! I was in a fender bender about a week ago in a parking lot and this walked me through step by step (since you are normally slightly frazzled and not thinking completely straight) what info to get and then compiled a report with pictures that I was able to email to the other lady. Like I said, hopefully you will never have to use it though!!
Oh and ShopShop is a great shopping list app...you can even have multiple stores and email them to your DH to pick up stuff
IMDb...for when you recognize that actor but just cant place where you remember them from!
My Bio
Update 5.24.10
Totally agree about the other apps. My bank also has an app that I love.
I use Fring, which is another app that allows you to video chat with others for free.
I also have several other cooking apps, fantasy football app from Yahoo!, and NBA Game time.
Welcome to the iPhone world!
I agree with PP's on the apps they have.
I also have Emoji Free which allows you send graphic in text messages to other iPhone uses, backgrounds so I can have diffrent backgrounds on my phone, ringtones-it helps you create ringtones, sale price (i use it all the time when shopping and something is marked down a weird percentage, tip calculator, McAlister's Deli, WebMD, AllRecipes, Nutrient Facts, TMZ, E! Online, OState, and as far as games I have Words with Friends, Zombie Farm (which I love and don't have to play of FB, Talking Tom (which cracks me up even though it is a bit immature).
