TGIF! Weekend Plans?
TGIF!
I am WFH today...I told boss I wasn't feeling 100% which is true, could I have gone in the office, totally...buuuuut....I decided not to.
I want to go to the gym today...and then tonight, not sure what H and I will do.
Tomorrow, maybe the gym...maybe some holiday shopping. Tomorrow night we are going out to dinner w/ our neighbors. I am really apprehensive- we usually drink a lot with this couple- and obviously I am not drinking at all. H told them I was fighting something all week so hopefully I can piggy back on that excuse.
Sunday we'll probably watch football, I;ll probably cook/bake (H probably will too) ...and then give candy to kiddies. Pretty low key. Gym maybe.
I'm sure at some point this weekend I will be talking to family about the drama that has started (see post from last night). Sigh. Not looking forward to that.

Today, I'm cleaning and running errands.
Tonight, my Mom is coming into town and we're having a potential Doula over for dinner, so we can interview her. She sounds awesome! She's a certified doula, hypnobirthing trainer, and massage therapist. Her package comes with a 30 minute post birth passage. Ahhhhhh
Tomorrow, my work friends are throwing me a baby shower, so my Mom and I will be there in the afternoon. Then, we'll probably go to dinner.
Sunday, we're heading to Miami for my nephews 1st birthday party. I can't believe he's 1 already! Dh is leaving for China that day for 2 weeks too
These weeks keep flying by...I am going to have to be back to work before you know it. Depressing.
Today we have a funeral to go to for H's great aunt. He didn't want to bring the baby and wanted me to magically come up with a babysitter even though everyone I know around here either works during the day or is going to the funeral. I'm like, we're bringing her. So she and I will sit in the back (even though she did fine at church last week). He is so archaic.
Then my folks are coming up for the weekend!! I'm so excited. They were up when I had May but couldn't hold her, then they came up the next weekend with my sister and BIL but they are so much better when it's just them. They tend to assimilate their personalities to whatever child they're with and when it's me and a sibling they're too conflicted to enjoy themselves.
Oh, and tonight we're taking May up to the great grandparents in her Halloween costume so we can get pictures with her cousins on H's side. There will be a cow, a dog, and...an air freshener. I'm so pumped.
i'm in a really crap mood today
work as usual, and i'm way behind, which has become the usual. probably just crash tonight
sat: coming back to campus for the women's soccer game. my dad's best friend's daughter is playing for the visiting team. and it's the college i worked at before coming here so i hope that sweatshirt still fits, lol.
sat night: halloween party.
sunday: grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, hopefully so cooking, and handing out candy to the kiddos in the evening.
I'm home today with JJ, too - he's got gastroenteritis, so he's home on a restricted diet, vomit watch and new meds. Sigh. At least he didn't also catch strep throat, which is going around daycare. I'm kinda glad I'm home...I'm trying to shake this cold, and being at work totally wasn't helping.
Today: In Lawton. H is starting the moving process today, so he's with the movers right now - then we'll go to lunch. Tonight, we're considering either going to OKC to go to the Halloween safehouse (or pumpkin patch), or staying here and going to dinner. I still need to pick up my bridesmaid's dress, but I don't feel well enough to try something on. I need to go on post and start birthday shopping for JJ - he'll be 2 in like, 35 days. Oh my gosh.
Tomorrow: Shopping and football, then trick-or-treating tomorrow night. I'm so excited to take JJ around for his first real Halloween! One of my mom's co-workers is throwing a Halloween party for her grandkids and invited JJ, so we might go there, too.
Sunday: Sleeping and grocery shopping. Making the family rounds since H moves to Colorado at the beginning of next week (boo hiss). Then, Thunder game!!
I'm working pretty much all weekend, but most of them days are short ones, so it won't be so bad.
Today I go in at 3pm. So, I'll probably go for a run or do some sort of workout, then hang out until time to go in. DH is off today too, but he just took his car to the dealer to get it's check up.
Tomorrow I'm in at noon. We were supposed to go to a party that night, but it got cancelled. Maybe we'll go to the movies or something after.
Sunday I go in at 11am, and I think I'm only working until about 4pm. We might hang out with friends while they pass out candy. Don't know yet.
This weekend is a pretty boring one. Work as usual.
Tonight- I only have to go in for about an hour. One of our employees (that just got a settlement, awesome older man) has offered me $100 cash to cook for him and his family (brothers, sisters, etc.) So I'm doing that. Then it's a night in with DH. We might go get a redbox because on Monday when we did it the movie we both really wanted to see came out on Tuesday, and this is our first chance to sit together for a couple of hours. I'm going to let him do nothing but relax. He worked a 15 hour day -like he does every Thursday for a month-- getting home at about 8:30, around for bed by 9, and up at 4:30 to start his day again.
Saturday- Split shift for me. Work like 4 hours on day shift and then 6 on grave yard. Don't know what we'll do in between yet.
Sunday- I work like 1a-11a .. so technically I go in at 1 am on Monday. I'm pretty excited because this means I'll actually get to be home with DH on his only day off! Might do some light grocery shopping, maybe get a start on Christmas shopping as well. But.. we also might just sit at home lol
Today I'm not doing much. Worked this morning, doing laundry now.
Saturday we don't have much plans for the day, but we're going to see some friends play at a bar in the evening.
Sunday is cleaning, football and handing out candy!

Tonight is ladies' craft night at church. I don't think Nate and I will go. If he's in a really good mood, we may go hang out for a while, but I don't have anything crafty to do right now - more like laundry and dishes. H is already at work; he gets home around 11:30 these days.
Tomorrow, H and I have a seminar in the morning for the Bible study we've been doing. I think it's 3 or 4 hours long. Then we eat lunch, and he goes to work. Not sure what Nate and I will do.
Sunday, church, lunch, H goes to work. I'm going to have to come up with some hobbies to do while he's at work.
Tonight: Nothing of note.
Saturday: Face painting at the county Cabbage Night Festival in the afternoon. Then at night we're going to Forest of Fear.
Sunday: Trick or treating with my sis & BIL & nephew & their neighbors, then back home to hand out candy.
