*Sikes*

I just read your new car post.  I know you said you didn't want an SUV, and I'm not sure what the reasoning is, but have you given any thought to something like the Honda CRV?  I had one prior to the car I have now, and I absolutely loved it!  I never would have gotten rid of it had it not been totalled in an accident (everyone walked away just fine).  It drove just like a car, was super roomy in the passenger area, got great gas mileage, and had a trunk that could fit anything.

  • Thanks! I'll add it to my list. My main reason for not wanting an SUV is that I've always driven little cars, so I feel like it would take a lot for me to get used to driving a bigger car.

I totally thought the same thing about SUVs until I had to drive DH's jeep somewhere. It was amazing. I say at least try driving one a bit, or see if you can get your hands on one from a friend. They ride so much nicer, and there are some smaller ones out there that feel more like a car. My friend just bought a Nissan Rogue for 16.5K, and it only had 20K miles on it. It's an '08 and she loves it. She also had never driven anything larger than a little car. Might not hurt to check it out.

  • I just spent a while looking online and I think the CR-V just went to the top of my list!
