Re: FFFC
That's not FW! That's good!
I was just asked by H if we can dogsit for friends in 2 weekends ...i love dogs, but this dog is a mastiff- you know, the 130 lb dogs. Sure, she doesn't do anything but lay around. I said no point blank. My excuse- I don't know how I will feel and it's an inconvenience. And then I said he would have to do every.little.thing if we watched the dog. I think my mind may change and I'll say ok. Hmm.
H and I got into this huge fight over my MIL last night, and I'm still miffed about it. I said some not-so-nice things about her that I apologized for, but I am so sick of her antics putting a rift between me and H.
I'm over JJ being sick. I know it can't be helped, but I'm just tired of always taking him to the doctor and going on new meds...it's exhausting for the both of us. I am, however, enjoying my time at home with him.
Last night when DH told me he was going to take his car in for service, he said he would take the shuttle home and probably just crash. He said he felt bad because he should be spending time with me since I'm not going in till the afternoon. I said not to worry about it.
The FW part is that I don't want to spend my morning with him. I like my morning time to just do things the way I want to, and he tries to get me to do other things that I don't want to do. Don't mess with my mornings, man.
Oh, and I have another one. My BFF's sister has a baby. Every single FB post is about the baby. She just put up one that was a list of the "words" the baby can say. I swear, half of them were just sounds that any kid would make. Your kid is not a genius lady.
This is the first week since mid-August that I have had two days off. My first one this week was spent out of town visiting family and friends. Today, I'm at home by myself til DH gets home from work around 3. I should do some deep cleaning, but instead I've lounged on the couch and now I'm on the computer, still in my pajamas.
Oh, and I might eat some frosting. Yup. Just frosting. The cupcakes are gone but the frosting is still here.... for now
Nate used to be a total daddy's boy. If I was holding him, and he saw DH, he *had* to be held by DH. Lately, he's been super clingy. He's always under my feet. He has to grab my pants or my arm or whatever he can reach all the time. DH tries to distract him so that I can get some stuff done, but he is determined to be right in the middle of my attention at all times. I kind of wish he'd be a daddy's boy again, just for a few minutes so I can check my email.
I've also been eating the candy I bought for trick-or-treaters. Last year we didn't have any, but a lot of kids have moved in around us, so I wanted to be prepared just in case. My philosophy of ToT candy is: if we don't have any ToTers, then we'll have to eat the candy or throw it out, so we should get some that we really like.
ETA: another one. I was kind of disappointed that I got an interview because I'm enjoying not having a job.
