what are you reading?

I'm 3/4th of the way through The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson and I absolutely love it...I don't want it to end!

So, I'm curious...what is everyone reading?
I'll need a new book to read soon!

Re: what are you reading?

  • Per my husband's recommendation I'm reading...

More than Beards, Bellies, and Biceps - The Story of the 1993 Phillies

It's actually pretty funny but probably not something you would want to read. Haha!

  • Glad you started this thread. I really need to get back on the reading bandwagon... Though, I generally read a lot of kid lit, so unless it is something that REALLY catches my eye, I don't pick 'adult' books very often. I have Tangerine (I forget the author right now) in my sub bag, but I haven't started it yet.

  • I'm going to start reading The Lost Hero, the next book in the Percey Jackson series. i love those easy books haha

  • Three Junes by Julia Glass.

This past week I read a Joy Fielding novel, one of the Lily Bard books by Charlaine Harris, and Once Upon a Day by Lisa Tucker. I've been ripping through Lisa Tucker books, I don't think I have many left. I enjoy her.

  • I started reading Wicked in JANUARY, can anyone say slow reader.  I had a good start but with the tax season and the wedding there wasn't a lot of spare time.  Now I don't feel like I can read until the TY notes are done.  In my drawer I have the series of the Sisterhood of the Traveling pants and Janet Evanovich Four to Score to read.

  • this is so awful:

i borrowed the girl who kicked the hornets nest about a month ago from my dad, who had borrowed it from one of his friends.  i have been totally slacking about reading it, the first 100 pages were really slow!  so i am JUST getting into it now, AND MY DAD NEEDS IT BACK TO RETURN IT!  he is coming to get it tonight and i am literally half way through it.  and of course all of the local libraries have like a 2 month long wait list for it.

i think i will have to go to borders tonight and shell out cash for it.

  • I'm trying to finish "The Host" By Stephanie Meyer (auther of the Twilight Series). I didn't want to put it down last night. It's definitely a weird book but I was so intrigued to figure out what was going on that I haven't been able to stop reading it.
