Congress' Next McCarthy...America needs to know who loves her best...
REP. BACHMANN: What I would say -- what I would say is that the news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look. I wish they would. I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out, are they pro-America or anti-America? I think people would love to see an expose like that.

I can't believe that this isn't getting more attention. But this Congresswoman basically wants an inquisition into who in congress is "pro-America" and who is not.

I was just listening to it as you posted. What an idiot. She wants an expose but refused to answer who else besides Obama she thinks is anti-American?

I'm not a Mathews fan, but, damn, was he great. She sounded like a real moran. Complete with deer in headlights looks whenever he asked her to explain herself. She just went back to her unsubstantiated fear mongering talking points.

Among other things...she thinks Obama has anti-American views...people on college campuses hate America...Nancy Pelosi may hate America...we need to figure it out...all Liberals are like Wright/Ayers.... the people who associate with BO are anti American.
Honestly, you have to watch the whole video to believe it. Shocking.
And apparently her opponent has now made oodles of money since this interview dropped. Lol.
It was infuriating, but I agree Mathews did a good job trying to get her to clarify. Actually I have seen this woman around the punditry circle and she pretty much always looks like a deer caught in headlights every time she is challenged.

I really like Chris Matthews. I became a Hardball addict during my unemployment, and I think he is underappreciated.
