So the Sacramento Kings home opener is on Monday night. We have season tickets, and it's one of DH's favorite nights to go to. I told him if Lucie hasn't come yet he should go, but he doesn't want to leave me and thinks people will judge him if he does. If something happens, he can be home in 45 mins and I told him that I'm sure I could get someone to come and be with me. Or he could even take me to my parents house for the evening and come back and get me. Am I crazy for wanting him to go? The way I see it, if she hasn't arrived (which is likely), he should take advantage of it!
Re: Am I crazy?
He has cell coverage at his seat, right? Then he should go! If it really makes him feel better to drop you off at your parents' house, then I think that's reasonable (since they could take you to the hospital and he could meet you there).
Like all pp have said...it's highly unlikely that he'd miss the delivery being only 45 minutes away! Just promise him that you'll call as soon as you have any reason to believe that it might be time.

dh would want to stay home too and i have to say, i'd agree! i'd want him to be there with me every step.
unless the Kings home opener equates to like Auburn being in the national championship (which they will NOT be) and it was 45 min away and he had free tickets...then I'd want him to stay home w/ me. we're very much home bodies and clingy to each other though.
