Re: What is...

  • Tonight I think we might carve our pumpkin.

Tomorrow Ayden has his 6 month well visit and I'm getting my hair done & treating myself to a manicure. The first one since A was born. DH has to work tomorrow night.

Sunday church, taking our little pea pod to see the grandma's and then passing out candy to trick-or-treaters.

    Have a good weekend everyone!

  • I'm not dressing up this year. :(

I can't wait to see all the J9 baby costumes! And MrsO better bring Jake's pics over here because he is soooo cute!

  • My costume is hilariously stupid. DH and I are going as "super hero versions of ourselves."

He's really into video games, so he's wearing a game t-shirt, black jeans, a black cape, goggles, and gamer headphones with a microphone. He may make a utility belt with video game controllers attached to it.

I'm really in to words and writing, so I'm going as "word nerd." I have a gold cape that matches his black one. I'm writing with Sharpie all over a white t-shirt with my favorite quotes from literature. I also wrote "WORD NERD" in the center. I'm going to either wear nerd glasses or a mask and might make a utility belt with pens and a dictionary as my "magic tools"

Lame, but super easy and kinda hilarious, right?

  • We aren't doing much of anything... not dressing up this year.  I think we'll go hand out candy at DH's cousin's house since no one ever trick or treats in our neighborhood.

  • DH has to work so we are kind of lame this year.  I am thinking of dressing up in one of the costumes I already have (Dorothy is kind of my default) but Amelia is a ladybug.  She is pretty cute and cuddly in her costume!  Pics soon!

  • We're being lame and not dressing up. We are going to carve our pumpkins tomorrow and hand out candy on Sunday, though I am not expecting many kids since we live on a dead end.

Hope to see some cute baby costumes. I got a sneak peak at my 6 month old nephews giraffe costume the other day, it melted me!!

  • This is our first year living in a neighborhood that actually has any trick-or-treaters, and from what we have heard from our neighbors we should be expecting about 300+ of them! So we are having family over to eat chili and pass out candy, everyone is dressing up to come over, David and I are doing very easy outfits and wearing masquerade masks and dress clothes to match. We're excited, and it's neat.. i remember trick-or-treating in our neighborhood as a child. we racked up! haha
