Stick vac recommendations please
Our place is only about 900 sq feet (650 wood, 200 carpet, 50 tile). I need a stick vac with a decent battery and good power. Easy to clean and HEPA filter would be a bonus. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Re: Stick vac recommendations please
I know I am a little late in this one but I just bought the Hoover LINX cordless stick vac not to long ago and freaking love the thing. It has a great battery life and the battery actually comes out to be recharged instead of having to put the whole vac on a charger. So you can buy an additional battery and always have a charged battery in you the vac. There is a gauge on the front that tells you how much battery life you have left and the vac shuts off before the battery loses so much power that the vac doesn't suck anymore. I'm not positive about the HEPA filter but I want to say yes it has one. The dust cup just snaps off the back and easy to empty.
I have carpet in my kitchen, yep carpet. Stupid dumb previous owners. That's mostly what I use it for. It's not plush carpet by any means. Most like fuzzy tile and it works really well. I use it to sweep up my bathroom floor as well. You can turn the brush head off and on by just a push of a button on the handle. About once a day I might do a quick sweep of my livingroom just to pick up cheerios and other kid debris. That carpet is pretty plush and it works really well.
In all my research I did before I bought, this vac stood among all of them. The cheapest I found it was on Amazon.com for $145. At Target it was still priced at $175. There is also a good warrenty on this vac too. The battery is included in that warrenty so I felt very good about spending the money.
Hope this helps!
