Re: I've started knitting
Fiberge in Montgomery has really great teachers and some knitting groups.I know there's a ravelry group that meets at habits and a few others in the area.
WoW, check our ravelry.com--it's a site for people who knit, crochet, and do other fiber arts. People share their current porjects and patterns, but there are also tutorials and FAQ's.
I'm still a novice, I've made a scarf for DD and have a blanket I've been trying to start for DS but I can't get the gauge right. I think I'm going to switch to making a scarf for DH and then revisit the blanket.
Try a different size needles if you are having problems with gauge.
I love knitting. I've been crocheting for years but I taught myself to knit and now I'm addicted. I'm currently making myself a sweater. I just started on Sunday and I'm about 10% done already.
