So you get a little sick and maybe get a fever and that kind of eff's up the whole month huh?
Not that I have been super charting girl here but I kind of never thought about that part for some reason.

Ditto this!
I panicked about this, too, because Thomas came down with a cold a couple of weeks ago and was running a fever. I was flipping out on him like "Don't give me your cold germs, I'm charting!" LOL, like he could control it, haha.
BFP on 2.2.11
Thanks ladies!! I did make a special note.
Our upstairs is always so hot I worry about that too.
Lindsay OMG I totally LOL'd at that because I told that to DH after he got the flu shot because he felt so horrible after, I know it's not the same but still sounds so much like me!!!!
Eh, as far as the room temp I wouldn't worry too much. I mean it can affect your temp, but not enough to actually mimic ovulation. I charted for 1.5 years before getting pregnant and my pre-O and post-O temps didn't really change with season. And our house is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
A fever on the other hand, can mess everything up depending on where in your cycle it falls. My first cycle charting I had a low grade fever and it definitely showed up.
this was 100% true for me as well. I too charted for almost a year and a half (TTA) before getting pregnant and room temps never really affected my waking temps.
My best bit of advice is try not to over-analyze each and every temp. You want to look at an overall pattern and trend. And sometimes that might take a few cycles to determine.
