what to do with daughter's art work???
At school DD makes pictures during "art time". I need ideas on how to store/organize all of them. She is my 1st child and I'm not ready to throw them away.
TIA!!!!
Re: what to do with daughter's art work???
At most office and art supply stores they have large portfolios that usually have a few separate sections that you could store the art in.
You could hang a few up and every time she brings a new one home store the one that was hanging up and then replace it with the new one.
This sounds like a good Idea, Scan them and make a cd of the artwork once a year keeping a few to put into a traditional portfolio (which you can buy at any arts and crafts store) for memory purposes . . Plus with them all scanned you can share them with family and friends with a few mouse clicks. . . .
I really like this idea... we are in the process of decluttering my house and this falls right in line with some of the things we need to get rid of. Thanks for the idea.
I love the book idea, that is fantastic! I bet the grandparents would like one of those as well, hmm possible Christmas gift!
I saw these on a blog and I totally didnt write down which ones they were, so if they are yours then full credit is yours! HTH

my SIL hangs my nephew and neice's artwork on strings with clothes pins (kind of like in the picture) out in the garage. when guests come over, the kids can take the visitors on a "gallery walk" and show them the artwork.
wouldn't work in my garage because there isn't enough room on the walls, but it's a cute idea, imo. they have one whole wall that's free for this.
You could buy one of these frames that displays artwork but lets you store more behind it:
