Halloween confession

We never get any trick or treaters where we live. But I still want to buy candy, and put it in a big bowl, and eat it all night.

And, it looks like DH will be going out with his friends tonight. I don't want to go, and I don't want to tell him not to go, but I don't want him to go. I want him to stay home with me, but that's not going to happen.

I'm very concerned that we're not going to have enough candy, even though we have like 7 bags. I told DH he should go get some more and his reply was "well, we're not giving them handfuls, they each get one. Don't worry, there will be plenty left over for you to eat." He knows me too well. Smile

We don't get any either. Last year I bought 200 pieces of fun size candy (twix, snickers, reeses...) and didn't get a single TorTer.

This year, I bought two small bags just in case.

Last year we ran out of candy two times. We just got home from church and seeing my niece and nephews....and got about 10 kids so far.

One little kid just pissed me off. I always let the kids chose their candy and this little brat took 5 pieces out of the bowl. I guess that's what I get for having good candy!

I was so not into Halloween this year (which is VERY not me) that we didn't even decorate. There are just two wrought iron pumpkins out on the front porch. We got hardly any trick-or-treaters anyway so far, which just makes me all the more disappointed.

Seriously, no joke. You're the best I've ever seen. I'm blown away by your posts. Trust me, once I'm super-mom I'll be paying you to drive down and paint at bday parties with ponies and moon bounces.

Yeah, I was happy with that one. It's taken me a while to get a cheetah I've found satisfactory.
