My sister totalled her car last night.
We were driving to get material for our costumes and some lady made an illegal uturn into us. Yep She was driving with no license or insurance and didn't get one ticket because the cop "forgot his ticketbook" at the station. Oh I flipped out. My bff's dad was the 2nd commander of chicago police before he died so I made sure he know that I had connections, he still duidn't care. So I made a formal complaint against him this morning. Turns out the women who hit us is a former NBA basketball player's mother.
I feel back pain and a neck injury coming on.

WOW that is soo ridiculous. I hate it when people fall through the system because someone doesn't want to do their job. Glad that you reported him. Make sure you keep on it. When I was a senior in college someone without insurance totalled my parked car and didn't pay a dime because we didn't follow up and get his real information

Funny I thought maybe they could use that radio 'thingy' in their car. He couldn't get another cop to swing by that was in the area to write a ticket??? I know, I know there are bigger things than accidents going on but that is a rediculous a$$ reason for her not to get a ticket.
