Did you see a lot of trick-or-treats?
We never get any, and it makes me so sad. I love seeing little ones in their costumes.

We got about 40-45 total. They started around 6pm and we got about 3 dozen in the first hour, then only 5-10 between 7 and 7:45.
Since we got so many in that first hour I was worried we'd run out of candy. Normally I let them all pick 2 pieces, but eventually I said just 1 to make sure we had enough. I wasn't expecting the big drop off of kids after that first hour. I thought we'd get a burst around 7:30 after the Patriots game. We still had some candy at the end.
I kept a tally going all night.
We had 256 kids- plus a handful who didn't take any candy. I'm in shock!

My favorite costume of the night: a baby dressed up like a lamb...I just melted!

That is amazing!
I know! I'm mostly amazed we had enough candy. We had 2 bags of 115 fun size bars from BJ's, then my friends brought us a bag of mini snickers the day before, and after those ran out, we only used about 1/3 of the enormous bag of kisses. It was a lot of fun to see so many costumes.
Steady stream from 7-9. We went through about 3/4 of the bucket of candy we had.
We had some seriously CUTE costumes too!
