Oh Monday, could you please go away?
Derek and I both had do-nothing days yesterday, which was actually pretty nice. I was a bit hungover so I had an epic nap and he just played video games. We carved our pumpkins just in time for the first TorT'ers to show up and then lounged on the couch until it was time to turn out the lights just after 9.
Saturday was pretty lazy too. We went shopping for hardwood flooring and hit up the mall. I got a nice new (tight!) dress for a wedding we're going to this weekend and Derek pushed himself closer to the grave by eating a Double Down (they only just arrive in Canada).
How was everyone's weekend?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning!
Good morning!
The weekend was good, but short. On Saturday, I hit the trails for a nice run, then we lounged around until it was time to go downtown. Metro was, predictably, a mess because they refused to reschedule their track maintenance or run more trains even though the rally, pre-marathon and Halloween activities were going on. But I did get to see my brother for dinner and some drinks, which was really, really nice. He's such a great guy.
Sunday was a lazy day, mostly; we got our groceries, did our workouts, went for a quick walk. No trick or treaters at all, so the candy we bought is going to our gym--they put together care packages for troops abroad and are collecting left over Halloween candy.
It needs to be Thursday night so we can have our happy hour and I can have some Pumpkinator beer. This Monday thing isn't working for me.
We actually went to the rally for a little bit. It was a mad house.
Sunday was church, grocery store, visit with BIL, carved pumpkins, and answered the door for trick-or-treaters. We didn't have as many as I expected, so the extra candy got split up and Jim & I each took half to work.
I woke up at about 4 this morning with an upset stomach that is still not good. I can count on one hand the number of times I've thrown up as an adult, but I already warned my co-workers that if I barf I'm going home. I really feel bad. So far, saltines and eggs and toast don't seem to be helping.

Saturday was pretty busy with running aroud. I went to the gym and cross trained (gasp!) then we went for groceries. Our friends who had a baby six weeks ago were finally up for visitors so we took over a pizza and then went to church. After that we watched the Rob Zombie Halloween.
Yesterday was a bit more relaxed. I went for a run. I planned on 6miles but felt great so I went 8.5. After that I just hung out around the house and made ham for dinner before we went to go see my niece and nephew before they went out trick or treating.

This morning has been kinda a blur. I had to get up extra early since B is still out of town and wasn't home this morning to walk Casey. I don't actually mind walking him, it's just that I have my morning routine down pat and it kinda threw off my schedule. I guess it didn't help that I stayed up late last night watching Mad Men. I'm only on season 2, but so far I love it.
The weekend was busy but good. Friday night I met an old work friend for drinks and then went home to chill out and get some sleep. I spent Saturday at my parents and we went to see the new Wall Street movie. I've never seen the first one, and I think I would have liked it more if I had. Yesterday, I worked most of the day and got in w6d2 of C25k.
My office had tons of food laid out for everyone in the kitchen this morning--bagels, muffins, fruit, etc. It's a good thing I have my WW weigh in today at lunch. Otherwise, I don't think I'd be able to resist--I love muffins. But I was good and only took fruit.
I had a fantastic weekend. DH and I went to a costume party. He went as Shaun from Shaun of the Dead and I went as April O'neil from Teenage mutant ninja turtles.
Hung over a bit on Sunday, but I got an early Birthday present from DH a new purse so I was excited to move my stuff to a new bag.
Good Morning!
I had a great weekend. We finally closed on our house on Friday and spent the entire weekend working on the house and unpacking. I absolutely LOVE our house and am so happy we are finally in it. It was worth the wait for sure. DH's parents came over on Saturday to help out a little.
We also got an apple pie and welcome from a couple of neighbors Saturday morning. The pie was wonderful, it was fresh out of the oven too! It is a very social neighborhood and everyone gets a long and gets together quite often. We are going to really enjoy our neighborhood!
I had an.. interesting weekend. I went for dinner with my parents and my dad outlined his retirement plans. (His pension just started.) Basically... he's laid out a pretty cushy life and hopes that my brother and I will help fund it. (I come from a culture where children are expected to support their parents when they reach working age.) Ugh.
The bright side of the weekend is that yesterday V and I got to hang out with a friend that we haven't seen in about 2 years that I missed a LOT.
Tonight I have a mini concert. The music is... interesting. I wasn't really into it at first but it's grown on me. Among other things, we'll be performing this.

My weekend went by way to quick. Isn't that always the case?
Friday night DH and I went to Zumba. He had a friend come over after and the boys and I went up to bed.
Saturday DH went grocerty shopping and I spent some time with the boys. I cleaned out their clothes as well. I already have a 1/2 tub full of clothes that they have outgrown.
Sunday we went to church and then spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and doing laundry. A friend came over in the evening with his 1 1/2 month old and we hung out and passed out candy.
I am exhausted though, Zach I think is getting his first tooth. He has been extremely fussy and knawing on his hands. I am ready for bed, and honestly can barely keep my eyes open here today.
We were very busy this weekend and now I am definitely paying for it. H's grandpa's visitation and funeral were Thursday and Friday. We stayed with his grandma through Saturday afternoon. There was a little family drama but less than I anticipated.
Saturday night after we got home, we dressed up for Halloween and went out for a couple of hours.
Yesterday I attempted to do some housework before my brother and his gf decided to come trick-or-treating at my house. So housework and laundry stopped and we entertained instead. Now my house is still a wreck but we had a good time. Luckily I am off tomorrow and Wednesday for interviews, so I am hoping to catch up on sleep and have a clean house again.
Hello!
Friday we went to a friend's house for dinner and game night. We played Outburst, Scattergories, and Apples to Apples.
Saturday, we went out to watch the GA-FL game. Sunday, DH went to a friend's house to watch the Sunday games and I stayed home and cleaned. He bought candy but we only had 2 trick or treaters.
Good morning ladies. As if Monday's didn't already suck, I woke up to another bout of morning sickness just when I thought it was going away. That in turn made me late to work and therefore cranky.
We had a pretty quiet weekend. Saturday we went to have lunch with the IL's and then ran errands. Yesterday we went to my parents house for dinner and hung out after to pass out candy. It was nice just to hang out with family and have a low key weekend.
Errands and grocery shopping during the day on Saturday. After dinner and being lazy, we watched a movie by the fire.
Sunday we went on a 5 mile bike ride, since Mother Nature, decided to finally give us a break of rain. We then went and found a great little pub and had an amazing lunch and a couple of beers. We hung around the house to hand out candy last night, and only got one family with a few kids, I was kind of disappointed.
Congrats on the house. I know you've been waiting to close for a long time.
