I was good all last week, but had an awful weekend - Don worked all weekend and would just bring back food with him.
I weighed myself and I've gained 1Ibs...not as bad as it could be, but I'm going the wrong way!!!

Re: Challenge Update
My challenge for me started today. I knew Halloween would be lots of candy, unhealthy food and drinking, so I planned ahead, if you will.
Spent last night researching all the group classes at the gym (LOVE step aerobics, and want to try spinning and zumba). My work schedule doesn't really allow me to do any group classes unless I go at 630 at night
I get to work at 630am, so a 530am class is too late. Most "evening" classes start at 5, when I've been home almost 2 hours. So to work out after already getting home will suck, I will have to stay super motivated.
I weighed myself this morning so I have a starting point. I thought I had gained about 15 lbs post-wedding. Turns out it's only about 5-7, which I think is hinky, since my clothes don't really fit right now. We'll see. Brought yogurt, apples and ham wraps for lunch and am making (in theory, see halloween post) asparagus risotto for dinner. Depending on how I feel when I get home, I will either do the 30 day shred or go to zumba at 630.

I don't know if I've lost/gained anything because we don't have a scale at the house. However, we only ate out once ALL last week and I cooked all the other meals. We had some different pastas (not all by choice but H loves them) but I also had a salad with mine and kept it to a small serving and no seconds.
I also have been walking to places more instead of driving...like with the outside shopping centers, I'll walk from store to store and then back to the car instead of driving to the different ones.
I am bad every weekend. Oh well.
Last week ok with eating - it was PMS week for me - but I did get to the gym five times so I'm stoked about that.
Clothes are fitting a lot better and my face is looking thinner.
This weekend didn't count...for me. I was so bad. My weekend was filled with JellO shots and beer. Not to mention I started my period on Saturday.
The positive is that I jumped on my treadmill Thus and Sat. I plan on using the treadmill every day this week.
I have drastically cut back on pop (soda, whatever) and we have not been eating out. I have been cooking a lot of home (to save money and eat better) and so far I have lost 3 lbs! 7 more lbs and then I am treating myself to a facial! Hubby said this morning that he wants to start working out so we can start doing that together.
I must have missed it if yall started a challenge for losing weight but i'll put in my two cents anyway. All last week and this weekend, I have literally ate at home twice. Yes, twice out of about 10 days. My H works nights so he is not home for dinner during the week only on Wednesday but that is our date night so we go out to eat. Then on the saturdays he works until about 8 or 9 at night then we go out to eat when he gets home. Then sunday we are out and about all day running errands/shopping and we leave the house at about 10 that morning and don't get back home untill 9 or 10 that night so ofcourse we eat out or at our parents on Sundays.
I lost about 10 punds before the wedding and I have kept it off by cutting portions alittle bit. But I have not lost anymore than that. I could get my F**A** to the gym in our apartments complex but I'm to lazy. We have lived here for 5 months and I have been to the gym about 4 times.
Last week was a fail for me. Besides all the Halloween candy, I made those cookie brownie bars AND homemade twix (which are delicious and I still have a whole bunch in my fridge!). I also had two whole things of spinach dip and tortilla chips and pizza and soda and all sorts of bad things.And I didn't exercise much because I fell on my hip during soccer on Mon and it was all weird feeling. I DID do Zumba on Sat though.
This week is starting out as a fail, too. Nera's for lunch. I'm going to "shred" when I go home though. And Zumba on Thursday and Saturday this week.
I'm not so good at the "diet" portion of the diet and exercise thing.
I suck hard at the diet thing, so I don't do it. I just try to eat less bad stuff more good stuff. I will never be thin like this, but I'm ok with that.

challenge update in a word: horrible.
last week i was on my period. bloaty and bitchy and craving all things unhealthy. but i did mostly good. and i worked out 4xs instead of just 3. but then i weighed myself...HUGE a$$ mistake. cried and cried.
also, weekend was an epic fail. candy, alcohol, french fries on friday. last night homemade mac and cheese. which in turn i again ate for lunch today. but aside from that, today is going to be all healthy foods.
healthy diet this week, 4xs at the gym and meeting with a personal trainer (finally!) hopefully i will see the scale more in the direction i want by friday.
