My dog

Is a wingnut. I am sitting at the kitchen table trying to enjoy my morning coffee, and she is dropping her ball at my feet. It is rubber, so she drops it, it bounces, and it rolls away. She then runs after it, and starts the process all over again. This has been going on for over fifteen minutes. I wonder when she'll realize that I am not going to play with her?

  • Sounds like she doesn't even need you to play with her Wink  She's got this fetch thing all mastered by herself!

  • Brody does similar things... he has this stuffed duck that he absolutely loves... If I'm sitting on the couch, he'll come over and put it on my lap for me to throw for him.  If I ignore him, he'll take the duck and toss it up into the air for himself to catch!!

  • Chloe plays keep-away.  She'll walk up to you with her monkey or duck or frog or rope and then when you try to grab it, she turns her head and you can't get it!  Then she does that over and over again.  Then she'll turn around, prance away and shake shake the toy in her mouth like, "haha I got it from you!!" and then walk back up to you and try it again.  You have to be quick to get that toy and then throw it for her.  She'll even practically put it in your hand or on your hand and yank it away before you can grab it.

Hahaha Stella does that too.  And as I am typing this, she is STILL doing the ball drop thing.  Only this time, I am actually throwing it for her.  She could play with this ball ALL DAY LONG.
