Christmas
I am just itching to get started decorating. I was given a huge trunk and tote full of Christmas stuff and I cant wait to set everything up! My boyfriend makes fun of me because I am a fireplace channel addict. I love the Christmas Tunes!
I turn it on and write cards or wrap presents. Bake goodies.
Since I'm off work except for weekends all winter, I am trying to make a lot of our gifts for family. So I'll have lots to do with my time!
It snowed today for a whole 5 minutes. It all melted on contact and it was sunny out right after.
Re: Christmas
I kid you not, when I lived in Detroit there is a radio station that starts playing all Christmas music, all the time starting right after Halloween. Is it just me or does all the Christmas stuff start a little earlier every year?
I haven't started my gift shopping yet, getting down the decorations, etc. Guess I better get my butt in gear.

I plan to start decorating this week
The stores here had christmas crap up right after back to school.
I hate gift giving too. We get something for my parents each year and thats it (nothing for sibs.) On DH's side though, they go all out and it pisses me off. It takes at least 5 hours to open all the gifts. So much of it is junk and I end up getting rid of it after a couple of years. I think MIL spends at least $2000 a year on gifts. I have suggested to DH that we don't buy much (like a gift per person) but he got all insulted that I want to change the way his family does Christmas. He doesn't get that we can't afford it!
On a side note, I am not allowed to decorate until December, and I like taking it down on boxing day.
