Party Planners

So, it was suggested that a great way to show all our friends our photos would be to have a party to do it.  So, we are thinking this Saturday.  It would be about 20 adults and about 20 kids and all except 2 of them are 4 and under.

Any suggestions or advice are welcome...  Food?  How to do it?  What to do with the kids?  Etc.?

Re: Party Planners

  • How fun!

So, you could do a couple things.

    1. Have a potluck theme...since you'd be showing photos from your trip, you could ask people to bring a food/drink from the countries you visited.

    2. You could make something from the countries you visited (e.g. if went to France, Croissants or just Baguette, Fromage, etc..; Germany knowckwurst/beer maybe)...

I can try to think of more ideas...

  • how do you plan on displaying the photos/have people view them? i think we can put a flash drive in our tv and play a slide show... if it's actually photos, make sure they're in albums so you don't get grubby fingers on them and they don't get out of order! :)
  • We were planning to get a projector from somewhere but using the TV might be a good idea.  Only problem being we have quite a small TV.

  • I'm not sure what you should do about the kiddies... if they're under 3 and still putting things in their mouths, that's a whole different set of toys.  I think the parents should bring stuff for them.  It's not like you can even give them crayons to keep them occupied.
