brew my friend, here is an easy glucose free meal that you can make vegetarian (or not!)
STIR FRY:
2 tbspn soy sauce
2 tbspn EVOO
2 tbspn balsamic vinigar
1 tbspn ginger (fresh or ground)
2 tspn honey OR brown suar
whites of some scallions (save the greens!)
salt and pepper
whatever veggies you like (i tend to do zuchini, broc, squash, shredded carrots, etc)
shrimp, chicken, or tofu all taste good in this!
whisk together the first 7 ingredients. throw in tofu or meat. let sit for 15 minutes or so while you make rice.
in a HOT HOT HOT skillet put a little oil. then put in the meat/tofu (without the sauce--but save it!) and heat until cooked through. remove from pan. then through in your veggies with a little of the oil and cook until not so crispy, but still a little crispy. then throw the meat or tofu back in along with the sauce now. cook until the sauce has thickened a little (sometimes i dont put in all the leftover sauce--dont want it to be too soupy!) at the very end, throw in the scallion greens. serve over hot rice
