Sometimes things just work out..this seems crazy to me.
When I moved to AZ I was happy, just three major things kept my happiness at bay.
1. I hated my job.. despised.. well you all have heard my complaints.
2. The house and neighborhood we are in stinks. Their are planes constantly flying overhead as we are a mile from an airport (Sean is a voice actor who works from home and this makes him have to stop recording and start over, etc), dogs bark constantly all day and all night, it smells like cow poo much of the time as we are a few miles from a factory farm and we hear trains blowing their whistles all night as we are a mile from train tracks.
3. Toby, our dog and light of my life, has been sick pretty much the whole time.
Well, the job situation just worked itself out. An old boss called me one day to see if I was looking and within time, here I am-happy at a new job, working from home and making better money, woo hoo!
Toby, unfortunately is not yet better but we are working on that.
The house situation..well, we have eight more months on our lease and do not want to have to fight to break it so we are in countdown mode. Yesterday a realtor stopped by to inform us that the owner is selling this house, and asked if it sells do we want to retain the lease if the new owner wants to move in. We said NO! So, our lease does technically transfer to a new owner but hopefully they will want to move in!
Keeping fingers crossed. Sorry for this being so long! It is just funny how sometimes life just hands you the resolution..
Re: Life just working out?? LONG
I'm so glad things are turning around for you guys! Hopefully you can easily find a new place to live, and I really really really hope Toby gets better soon!
Our dog, Nova, tore off one of his toe nails and somehow got a crush injury on the toe next to the one with the missing toe nail. We know/knew what was wrong with him because it was a physical thing we could see, and it was still just heartbreaking to see him in so much pain. I really can't imagine what you must be going through with Toby, but I hope it gets figured out soon & resolved. Poor guy.
Jamie, I truly believe life has it's way of working itself out. Doors open at the right moments and as cheesy as this sounds-things always happen for a reason (IMHO).
I always believe that I am on the right path & when it's time for a change, something will present itself.
I'm glad that things are working out for you! I hope that Toby gets better soon too!!
as much as I love my home town, I'm pretty jealous you are living out in AZ. I loved it out there when we visited in April!
My Planning Bio! Married Photos! My Blog!
That stinks. I'm glad you've atleast turned around a few things.. hopefully the house will sell and you can move sooner than later.
She said it perfectly! So glad things are getting better
Poor Toby! He needs to get better cuz the weather is just too nice for him to be missing this.
TG! about the house selling. I'll cross my fingers that it sells quickly... but wait... would you stay in AZ if it sells? Both of you working from home, you're not bound to AZ anymore.
