Homeland Creamery
DH and I finally got a chance to go to Homeland Creamery yesterday. The ice cream was delicious. Unfortunately we were not headed home afterward so we could not purchase anything to take with us. DH was disappointed that he could not get any eggnog. We will just have to check out Fresh Market to see if they are carrying it yet.
So if you happen to be in the Triad/near Julian NC and have some time for a visit, you should check it out.

Curbside, I think we're living each other's alternate lives. Dh and I went there over the summer for the first time--I've been buying their milk for some time, and DH finally relented to my pleas. Their ice cream is so stinking good (about as good as their milk!) I'm not sure if Fresh market still carries their ice cream anymore--I think Earth Fare may still do so. BUT, here's a MM tip for you--if you buy it from the GSO Curb market, both products are a little less expensive--and they offer almost everything at the Curb market that they do at the farm store!
This Saturday, Dh and I tried Iron Hen for the first time. Enjoyed the meal very much.

I did not price everything at the creamery store but I did notice that a gallon of milk was more there than it is at Fresh Market. We will have to look for it at the Curb Market.
