I got a call back for the library position I applied for, they want me to go test take a test for it on the 10th. Then she tells me that the job is actually only 19 hours a week with no benefits. Meaning that DH and I would have no health insurance because I carry our insurance, and our income would be cut in half. Poop.

I think I'm still going to go take the test, just to see what's on it. But if they offered me the job I'd have to decline it. That sucks royally.

Ugh, sorry. BIL has been trying to leave the NY Library & come to a library in NJ (with a full time position) for a while now and it's really unlikely. Towns here are actually closing their libraries for lack of funding.

Agreed. Every time I talk to our Canadian cousins I ask DH if we can move there. A year off for maternity leave! Unthinkable!

That stinks about the job. But I think I would take the test, at least you will know what's on the test.
