Has anyone used this? I have a pair of brand new khaki cords that got washed with a red sweater (could have sworn the sweater had been washed several times already!) and there's now a pinkish stain on the back pocket. I read that Rit Dye Remover is good, but I'm apprehensive it will change the color of the entire pant, not just remove the one stain. (If anyone has any other suggestions, those are welcome, too:)
Re: Rit Dye Remover
Rit definitely gets pink stains from red dyed clothing out, but it may change the colors of clothing in other ways. E.g., my fiancee had a white shirt with navy blue rings on the sleeves. A red shirt that went in with it ended up bleeding into it making it a little pink. I used Rit on it, and all of the pink disappeared, but the navy blue turned to a khaki-green color. (he still wears it, he likes green
)
You might want to spot-treat the stain first with Carbona. This stuff is awesome. It's made in Germany and is in these little yellow bottles - I buy it in the supermarket; sometimes places like Joanne Fabrics have it too. There are different formulations based on the type of stain.
Best of luck getting that annoying stain out!
