HELP PLEASE

I had Office 2010 Beta until Yesterday when it EXPIRED!!!!!  AHHHH  when I bought this computer I was told it would not expire.... a year later it did!  So now I went to control panel and uninstall.  Then I went and downloaded a free trail on microsoft.com called quick to run....  It won't work and now won't uninstall.  I don't know what to do, I cannot open any documents or pictures on my computer now and need help!  Any suggestions?  Any phone numbers of someone to call? Please help
TIA,
Lindsay

  • Microsoft is VERY protective of their products and has extensive efforts in place to make sure that people do not copy their software. It sounds to me like the is a block on office 2010 from using more than one free trial. Sorry, but it sounds like you will have to buy the license.

Beta was not a trial according to Microsoft, they wanted people... So I was doing them a favor.  The part that confuses me is that I can not get this program off.  I just read on their site that after 10-31 when Beta disappears, you are welcome to use a free trial OR purchase the full version.   Thanks for answering ladies.....  Still searching!

  • My offical Best Buy retail slave answer would be to go to Best Buy and get it from Geek Squad ($119-$300).

In all reality I got mine from a bit torrent. I'm not sure if telling you how to do it counts as some sort of illegal activity as it's *totally* illegal, but if you google it, it's not that hard to do. Just be careful of viruses

Or there's http://www.openoffice.org/ hubby uses that all the time

  • Is there a way you can get the student edition?  I work on a college campus and we get the student edition of office for $25.  I am not sure if the new version is available to us yet, but you might want to hit up your local college student to get you a copy.
