Sometimes things just work out..this seems crazy to me.
When I moved to AZ I was (and am) very happy, just three major things kept my happiness at bay.
1. I hated my job.. despised.. long story but I have never felt this way about a job. Was crying daily..getting sick from stress, etc.
2.
The immediate neighborhood we are in stinks. Their are planes
constantly flying overhead as we are a mile from an airport (my husband is a
voice actor who works from home and this makes him have to stop
recording and start over, etc and really hurts his productivity), dogs bark constantly all day and all
night and owners wont do anything about it, it smells like cow poo much of the time as we are a few miles
from a factory farm and we hear trains blowing their whistles all night
as we are a mile from train tracks. We can't ever have our windows open at night, and since I work from home, most of the time I can't even open them during the day. Luckily we are renting. We had to rent sight unseen because of us moving cross country and did not want to buy not knowing the areas.
3. Toby, our dog and light of my life, has been sick pretty much the whole time since we moved..
Well, the job situation just worked itself out. An old boss called me one day to see if I was looking and within time, here I am-happy at a new job, working from home and making better money, woo hoo!
Toby, unfortunately is not yet better but we are working on that.
The
house situation..well, we have eight more months on our lease and do
not want to have to fight to break it so we are in countdown mode.
Yesterday a realtor stopped by to inform us that the owner is selling
this house, and asked if it sells do we want to retain the lease if the
new owner wants to move in. We said NO-we want to move! So, our lease does technically
transfer to a new owner but hopefully they will want to move in!
Re: Sometimes life just works out..LONG
That's awesome! I hope it works out so you guys can move... although the way things are with housing market, it might take 8 months for it to sell anyway.
I felt the same way as you did in your #1 point up there when I moved down here... I'm not at that job anymore thankfully, but I haven't found anything else I like either yet.
I hope Toby gets better soon!
Fingers crossed that it moves quickly...
Maybe offer to move out sooner rather then waiting. You know, so it will be much easier to show as they won't have to provide you with 24 hours notice to show the place.. lol..
I hope your dog gets better soon :-(
Good luck with the stuff in flux. I know I would be dying inside if one of my pups were ailing. And planes? Ugh.. annoying!
Are you going to continue to rent or are you going to look for your own place to buy?
my read shelf:
Isn't it amazing when you just let go and let God
Here's hoping your house worries work out the same way as your job worries.
And lots of healing love to your puppy =(
This is so true.
As for the planes, I used to live by Sky Harbor Airport and I just got used to it. Where I live now, there is a mini airport and I hear them too but got used to it. Sorry that it effects your H?s job though and I hope your pup continues to get better.
