1) Buy a car!!! If we don't choose by Friday, we may not have one before our lease is up.
2) Get the warranty on our current SUV fixed so I no longer have to fight with the shitty service team and
3) Get the SUV back to the shop so we can get the heat fixed! It's freakin cold in Canada, and I have an almost 1 year old baby. (Can you tell I'm still bitter)
4) Attempt to follow up with my job interviews from last week
5) Get the chimney cleaned and buy pellets for the stove.
6) Search through photos for my cousin to be put in a slideshow for her January wedding.
July 10, 2010 Best. Day. Of. Life.
The main thing I need to do is continue working on wedding photobooks for our parents. I'm going to be spending a large chunk of Saturday morning working on this.
Also I need to figure out what we're going to be doing this weekend with my parents.
Always on a to do list is work today and thursday and my week is done.
fold and put laundry away today (H did it last night). Cook dinner today before work. We (the little guy and i) have our music class this morning I have to pick up my prescription.
Tomorrow we have to go grocery shopping. Clean the house.
I have to pack somewhere in there because we are flying home for my aunts funeral friday evening, Dropping the little guy at the inlaws, then H and I are driving 3 hours to the ceremony saturday, then driving 3 hours back because our flight in the 8am on sunday.
Work on monday.
I can do this.
--Take senior photos tonight
--Take baby photos tomorrow night
--Edit photos
--Craft show on Thursday!
--Homework
--Lesson plans for Friday
In a few minutes when the shelter opens, I need to call them and see if they have room to take in my grandmother's cats. They have been living in her house alone for the past nine months, after she died, so I need to get this ball rolling. Not going to be easy taking them from their home and leaving them there, especially if I go back and volunteer and they are there for a while
Otherwise, need to send a thank you note for my interview I had yesterday, and do some general cleaning/organizing around the house. Stinks because I have taken out everything I can think of that is trash or donated, now it's basically just moving stuff around.
1. Today I need to go vote! I'm going with DH when he gets home from work at 3.
2. Get a few groceries that the local store didn't have when I went shopping Sunday.
3. Finish reading my book.
4. Be lazy all day tomorrow - it's my birthday!
5. Class for grad school and homework for class.
i hope they get adopted quickly and stay together. are you bringing them to a no-kill shelter? can you ask that they be adopted out together? or can they stay at your grandmothers house for now and have the shelter list them as a courtesy on petfinder to see if they can get someone to adopt them together and then they wont have to live at a stressful shelter in the meantime?
that situation really sucks...im sorry

I just wrote out a whole list for today, lol.
Mine includes...
1) Job hunting!!!
2) Getting all our sh!t together for Reno and the Marine Corps ball this weekend
3) A lot of laundry and cleaning that has been neglected when I've been working 7 days a week.
Kim, the shelter is the one I volunteer at and is no kill. I absolutely trust them completely, or I wouldn't have brought them there. It's at least the one comforting thought, knowing them the way I do and I know they will be well taken care of.
They are seniors, so they are going to have a hard time finding that family, but we've had senior cats adopted before. And they keep them in the same cage together, and will either waive the second adoption fee, or both fees, to keep them together. I think I cried more at the shelter than I did at my Nana's funeral.
1) Grad school class and homework (it never ends...)
2) Finish a scrapbook for my mom's birthday.
3) Winterize the apartment, basically fall cleaning so we have a decent place all winter.
my read shelf:
1. Pay bills and balance checkbook
2. Look at two houses with DH and real estate agent
3. Try not to stress, worry, or lose my mind about work
OK i feel better now knowing that you volunteer there and stuff. im always so worried about them being separated in situations like that. im sorry you have to go through that
