Re: VOTE
What if I can't? When I got my license changed they updated my voter card and told me that it would be 2-4 weeks before it made it to the system so I probably wouldn't be able to vote.
I never received a card and don't have a polling place. I feel bad about it. =(

AMEN.
Also, to above: sad! I would be rully depressed. I re-registered to vote with my new name and haven't changed my license yet. Vote reg. card has my maiden and new last name though so it shouldn't be a problem! I'm going to vote after work!

This! While I think I'm still registered at my mom's house (pretty sure I got the ballot form there), I changed my license and the address no longer matches. I am sad cause I waited in the car while DH went to vote.
I am a die hard voter, I've never missed an election big or small since I turned 18 many many moons (aka 15 years) ago.
I haven't changed my name because I didn't feel like it, but also because I didn't want it buggering up my vote.

I early voted, then went straight to the SS office and DPS to change my name. Lol. I didn't want this whole name change thing to mess up my vote!
I've never missed an election and don't plan to. I didn't even know where my damn polling place was. When I changed my name and address at the DMV I did not check the box to change voting address or similar terminology.
I had to call and find out where my polling place is. Luckily it's at the elementary school that I attended. I think I'll go during lunch to avoid any long lines after work.
Me, me, me tooo!
