Thankful Tuesday!
Today I am thankful that it's election day and my phone will stop ringing off the hook - Obama has called a few times. The junk mail "vote for me" will stop. Lastly, I can finally watch live TV again since there will be no more political commercials.

That I have the right to vote and did so in a peaceful, organized, (relatively) non-corrupt manner this morning. And also bc this means I will no longer have to listen to obnoxious negative campaign ads spewing forth from the TV every day, ad nauseum. Enough!
That my fetal doppler arrived yesterday and I got to listen to the baby's heartbeat. Amazing. I recorded it and emailed to DH who got to hear it, too.
I am also thankful for leftover Halloween candy, although my thighs are not.
I am thankful that I have the right to vote without risking my life.
I am very thankful for coffee (the twitterbrained cat decided to play with our bedside lamps all night... he thinks the pull-chains are toys he and bats them against the lamp base, which makes a clanging sound).
I am thankful for all of my library cards.

I am grateful that Harry Reid isn't going to call me at work anymore and neither is Obama they like to call me at work damn them don't they know I don't have time for that crap! I am sick of hearling about Sharon Angle telling woman who wind up preggo because they were raped that they should have the baby and make a lemon sitiuation into Lemonade! Biatch!
I am grateful that I have a job and so does my hubby and that the holidays are just around the corner.
One more thing I am grateful for you ladies who brighten my day!

I'm thankful for being employed, even if I complain about working so much. I'm also thankful tonight is Family night at the police department and I don't have to cook dinner.
I am also thankful that all of the political ads will stop. I'm tired of hearing everyone bash each other.
I am also thankful that I have the day off and can go to the pool today. Well...I'm not thankful I have the day off, but since we never really had a summer I'm thrilled to have a day to go to the pool.
I'm thankful for my hubs that cleaned out the garage today AND emptied the dishwasher!
I'm thankful to have a job even though I am often unhappy at it.
I'm thankful for you ladies - it's nice to have y'all to relate to with married people stuff. (We don't have many married or couple friends)
