Ok, I am not much of a cook, and am finally falling into my roll as a wife now and I am going to break in the crock pot we got for the wedding. Only problem is, I know no crock pot recipes. Does any one know any that are pretty simple? Remember I don't cook very well or often so easier the better. TIA
Re: Crock Pot Recipe??
I have an entirely too large word document of weight watchers crock pot recipes I can email to you if you want. Just PM me your email.
I made spaghetti and meatballs in the crock pot last night. http://cookaholicwife.blogspot.com/2010/10/crock-pot-spaghetti-and-meatballs.html
Is there something you were thinking of making?

There is a pork bbq recipe for the crockpot that is literally idiot proof - and it's so YUMMY!
At the grocery store they sell packets of spices and such, well they have a bbq packet of spices where all you need to do is throw say a pork shoulder in the crock pot, the spices, and a few other ingredients (listed on the pkg) and let it cook for 8 hrs - then shred up the pork! It's that simple!
Pretty much. There just needs to be some type of liquid. For a roast, I'd add the roast, carrots, potatoes, celery, 1/2 a 14 oz. can of beef broth, and maybe a couple tablespoons of tomato paste to thicken it up.Then cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Tonight we're having pulled pork. I put a pork tenderloin in there with about 2/3 cup of BBQ sauce.
I'll check my PM's now to send you over the huge list.

Thanks!
Since we're sort of on the PM topic, if I have one, where do I see it? I am slow with this site.
In the blue community bar on the left, its at the bottom under My Boards.
I usually have a knot page open though and just access it from there.
